If you are looking to increase your knowledge as a video editor, there are many online resources nowadays and you will be able to easily get free information online.
Here are a few youtube channels I would personally recommend to my students to take a look at to increase their knowledge on video editing.

As a Video Editor you will need to create a youtube channel sooner or later, and this channel is a good guide for you to understand how youtube can work for you as an editor and designer, Video Influencers : https://www.youtube.com/user/videoinfluencers
Here is an example of a video from this channel which allows you to understand about creating a Youtube Channel:
These are also a few more of my favourite videos from this channel that talks about creating a vlog, mistakes that you shouldn’t make, tips on starting youtube & how to get your channel discovered.
You will find a better understanding of creating your own Youtube Channel after watching this video. However, this channel does not go into the skills of video editing, so you will have to move in to other channels once you understand the fundamentals.
2. Videography & Video Editing: Peter Mckinnon

3. Motion Graphic with After Effects: SonDuckFilm
This channel concentrates mostly on After Effects and motion graphics.
You will need to have the basics of After Effects learnt to follow his videos as he talks quite fast, but otherwise he give great video editing tips and techniques you can easily implement onto your motion graphic videos.
Find out how this trainer edits his photos at his channel SonDuckFilm: https://www.youtube.com/user/SonduckFilm
Every person edits their own videos differently, so there are many methods to get the same effect in After Effects, it is good to see how some professionals edit their videos and choose your favourite for your own editing style.
4. Detailed tutorials on Premiere & After Effects: TutVid
One of my favourite tutorial channels on youtube, TutVid videos makes complex editing techniques easy to follow and remember. Even as a professional video editor, you will still be able learn new things from this channel as he explains different special effects for designs, photos and video editing on his channel TutVid: https://www.youtube.com/user/tutvid
Best thing about this channel is of course the way the video explains the effects and tools, but also that there is a wide variety of videos for you to pick and choose which kind of tutorials will be suitable for your work. Check out the Adobe Illustrator tutorials.
